Description:

Entry Systems is looking for an experienced installer or skilled tradesperson who wants to build a long-term career in the garage door industry.

Garage door experience is NOT required. We are specifically interested in candidates who already have professional hands-on experience in installation, construction, maintenance, repair, or another skilled trade. We will provide paid training to teach you the garage door industry.

This could be a great fit if you have experience with:

  • Window or door installation
  • HVAC installation or service
  • Appliance installation or repair
  • Electrical or low-voltage work
  • Carpentry or cabinetry
  • Construction or remodeling
  • Fence or gate installation
  • Solar installation
  • Property or facilities maintenance
  • Other professional mechanical or installation work
What You'll Do
  • Install residential garage doors and related equipment
  • Work with another installer on larger installations
  • Use hand and power tools throughout the workday
  • Load, transport, assemble, install, and adjust garage door equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Perform garage door service and other field work when installations are not scheduled
  • Interact professionally with homeowners and customers
  • Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area

Requirements:


  • 2+ years of professional installation, construction, repair, maintenance, or skilled-trade experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent full-time schedule
  • Able to perform physical installation work, including safely lifting up to 75 lbs
  • Comfortable working from ladders and performing hands-on field work
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with customers in their homes
  • Able to work independently and as part of a two-person installation team
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (5+ years)
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening

Garage door experience is not required. We will train the right experienced tradesperson.
