About the Opportunity

Gastro Health is seeking a full‑time Endoscopy RN Lead to join our outpatient endoscopy center in Reston, VA. In this role you will provide exceptional patient care during endoscopic procedures, preparing patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs and maintaining a sterile environment. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to educate patients, document procedures and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians to provide direct patient care for colonoscopy & endoscopy procedures
  • Complete admission assessments
  • Monitor patients receiving IV moderate sedation
  • Oversee and participate in the preparation and flow of the procedure room
  • Prepare for discharging patients
  • Provide post‑anesthesia care
  • Train and mentor other staff
  • Maintain and prepare for AAAHC accreditation
  • Manage staffing schedules
  • Monitor inventory and stock
