Job Title: Quality Control Environmental Monitoring Technician (1st Shift)

Shift: Wednesday โ€“ Saturday (1st Shift)

Experience Required: 3โ€“5 years

Cleanroom Experience: Required

Job Description:
This position supports the Quality Control Environmental Monitoring team by maintaining cleanrooms for commercial manufacturing and executing environmental monitoring performance qualifications. The role is essential to all processes related to environmental monitoring and is directly involved in environmental investigations, excursion report writing, and general upkeep of the microbiology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform environmental monitoring; Level 3 gowning qualification is required. Extended hours in the cleanroom in Level 3 gowning may be necessary depending on monitoring demands.
  • Assist with maintenance of laboratory/media supplies and equipment.
  • Support investigations for environmental excursions; assist in revising standard operating procedures (SOPs), trend reports, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Conduct water sampling and gas testing.
  • Execute aseptic process validations, environmental monitoring performance qualifications, and gowning qualifications.
  • Inspect aseptic process qualification units.
