Job description

The Lead Process Engineer role within Ortloff Engineers COE is a mid-level position which supports the development, innovation, commercialization, and project execution of the various Ortloff cryogenic natural gas processing technologies. Engineers within the Ortloff Engineers COE have the opportunity to support the full value chain of Ortloff cryogenic gas processing technologies from project inception to unit start-up. The Lead Chemical Engineer will support the development and improvement of design practices, tools, and infrastructure for these technologies to ensure the technologies are competitively positioned in the marketplace. The Lead Chemical Engineer is expected to provide technical leadership and oversight within their role while still working closely with senior-level engineers and management to ensure positive outcomes for licensed projects and key initiatives.

You will report directly to our Fellow and General Manager, and you'll work out of our Houston, TX, Midland TX, Rosemont, IL, or Tulsa, OK location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite Monday - Friday.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 10+ years of experience in chemical engineering.
  • Strong leadership and technical expertise in chemical engineering principles and practices.
  • Ability to own, manage, and drive key initiatives & projects to create positive outcomes.
  • Ability to recognize and engage key stakeholders appropriately to assist in creating positive outcomes.
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience in product development and process improvement.
  • Self-driven, coachable, and a desire to grow / improve as a practicing engineer and technical leader.
  • Proficiency of process simulation software, primarily Honeywell's UniSim software.

The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $156,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
