Gas Operations Manager Jobs in Hawaii (NOW HIRING)

POSITIONSUMMARY Responsible for all aspects of the site operations; safety, staffingand customer service functions working in conjunction with the Sales and SupplyChain teams.

LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read, analyze, andinterpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, andlegal documents. - Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints fromcustomers, employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the businesscommunity. - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and proceduremanuals. - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questionsfrom groups of managers, vendors, employees, clients, customers, and thegeneral public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to apply basic conceptsof algebra and geometry such as fractions, percentages, ratios, volume andproportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY - Ability todefine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. -Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions inmathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concretevariables. - Ability to work in a Matrix environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree from afour-year college or university; - Five to Ten years related experience and/ortraining preferably in site/branch operations and/or package gas operations inthe industrial gas industry; or - Equivalent combination of education andexperience.
ANNUAL SALARY: $70,000 to $80,000 per year DOE.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS - Valid Driver'sLicense - Hazardous Materials training OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Ability to proficiently display computer software skills with programs suchMicrosoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Hands on understanding ofindustrial gas products, production, distribution applications, and associatedequipment. - Working knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing practices. -Training in Safety and Compliance (OSHA, DOT, EPA, and FDA)
