Job description

Job Summary

The Line Locator is responsible for completing all assigned Colorado 811 tickets by their due date. Completing utility locate tickets consists of accurately locating and marking existing underground utilities, specifically electric, water, oil, and gas utilities. Manage daily line locating schedule and job-related data management. This position is located in Western Midstream's Rockies Region in Longmont, CO.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year line locating experience. Oil and gas industry experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Effective verbal and listening skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Time management skills
  • Competent computer skills and work-related software packages

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to WES Core Values and policies
  • Maintain and secure company supplied equipment
  • Manage Colorado 811 One-Call tickets
  • Communicate with excavators, managers, and landowners
  • Ability to walk 3 to 5 miles a day if needed carrying equipment
  • Adapt to changing work environments
  • Stay current on job related technology, state and federal regulations, and company policies
  • Keep management aware of any issues or problems in the field
  • Additional duties or special projects may be assigned based on company discretion

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Certifications / Licenses:

  • A valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.

Relocation:

  • This position is not eligible for relocation. Candidate must live within 60 miles from Platteville, CO.

Travel Requirements:

  • This percentage of travel required for this position is 0% - 10%.

Work Schedule:

  • The standard schedule for this position is 4/40 or 5/40 Monday - Friday. This position is subject to weekends, holiday, and on-call shifts.

Work Environment:

  • Required to wear assigned personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to safely work and operate a company vehicle in extreme outdoor weather.

*The pay range for this position in Colorado is $35.00- $55.10; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position is eligible to participate in the Western Midstream Cash Bonus Program, plus offers a competitive benefits package that emphasizes pay-for-performance compensation, work/life balance, premium health benefits, and a top-tier savings plan.
