Job description

About the Role
We are seeking skilled and reliable HVAC Installers to join our growing team serving the Maryland and Northern Virginia region. This is a hands-on role focused on installing a wide range of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
Because our installers regularly work on active job sites where inspections occur, a current MD or VA Journeyman HVAC license is strongly preferred and will be prioritized in the hiring process.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems with precision and efficiency
  • Work with systems including:
    • Central Air Conditioning
    • Gas & Oil Forced Air Systems
    • Heat Pumps
    • Hydronic & Steam Heating Systems
    • Ductless Mini-Split Systems
  • Ensure installations meet all local codes and safety standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with customers and inspectors
 
Minimum Requirements
Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on HVAC installation experience
 
Licensing & Certifications
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (required)
  • MD or VA Journeyman HVAC License (strongly preferred)
  • Gas and/or Electrical Journeyman licenses are a plus (and supported for advancement)
 
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical or trade school training preferred
 
Driver Requirements
  • Valid MD or VA driver’s license with clean driving record:
    • Maryland: 0 points (3-year lookback)
    • Virginia: ≤ +5 points (5-year lookback)
  • No recent major violations (DUI, reckless driving, excessive speeding, etc.)
  • Driving records will be verified prior to hire
