Job description

Job Title: Gas Distribution Engineer Location: Denver, Colorado Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $42.00 - $44.50 per hour Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities • Support the planning, design, and execution of gas infrastructure projects • Assist with project scoping, engineering design, cost estimating, regulatory compliance, and construction support for pipeline assets • Collaborate with Project Management, Operations, and external vendors to ensure project safety, efficiency, and compliance with CFR standards and internal policies • Update project tracking lists with current statuses • Prepare design drawings and service spreadsheets • Research existing asset information and prepare/review operating procedures • Prepare project Stage Gate documentation • Attend meetings such as Project CFT’s, trainings, staff meetings, and coordination sessions

Requirements • Engineering degree (BS) • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD programs • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Self-motivated with strong organization skills • No previous experience required, but a minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience is preferred • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, with site visits to field locations with PPE and safety considerations
