* Directs the Garrison's security and intelligence programs. Requirements Conditions of employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

* This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time. * Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 11. * This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). Additional information About US Army Garrison Dugway Proving Grounds The position is located at United States Army Dugway Proving Ground, approximately 50 minutes, from Tooele, Utah, and a 90-minute drive from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dugway offers various alternate work schedule opportunities with most of the workforce working 4 ten-hour shifts Monday through Thursday. DPG is physically remote, entirely self-sufficient with government housing available for Soldiers, civilians, and Contractors. An AAFES PX, Civilian Authorized Commissary, Community Club, Physical Fitness Center, Swimming Pool, Post Chapel, Childcare, Youth Services and Tooele County K-12 school system are on post.
