Job description

A private household in New York City is seeking an experienced, professional, and detail-oriented Live-Out Private Housekeeper to support a luxury condominium residence in Midtown Manhattan. The home is occupied by two adults, with no children or pets, and consists of 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.
This is a full-time role for a high-standard private residence requiring daily housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe care, organizing, inventory support, light errands, and general household upkeep. There is a full-time chef on staff, so no cooking is required.. The ideal candidate will have prior high-end private household experience and will be comfortable maintaining a refined, well-organized residence with discretion and professionalism.
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, (5 days per week. Flexible days off)
Start Date: July
Responsibilities Include:
  • Daily housekeeping and general upkeep of the residence
  • Tidying and maintaining all household areas
  • Making beds and refreshing bedrooms
  • Cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and common spaces
  • Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
  • Laundry care, including washing, folding, ironing, and steaming
  • Wardrobe care and handling delicate garments
  • Packing and unpacking luggage as needed
  • Organizing household items and maintaining order throughout the home
  • Assisting with household inventory
  • Running light errands as needed
  • Supporting vendor access when required
  • Notifying the household of any maintenance or household concerns
