Job description

If you want to learn how to

  • gardening from seeds
  • grow food for the hungry
  • harvest vegetables
  • help maintain our herb garden
  • foster native plants and pollinators
  • weeding and garden maintenance

You'll find them all at the Harvest Garden!

Gardening help: Mon, Wed, Fri, 9am-12pm for harvesting crops, weeding, digging, planting, pruning, composting. Crops planted from seeds include tomatoes, peppers, Asian greens, eggplant, Swiss chard, kale, basil, summer and winter squash, cucumbers and other vegetables. There are also several fruit trees at the garden. There's a native plant garden too that volunteers maintain.

No experience necessary. All produce is donated to several non-profit programs and food distribution programs. If interested please email hfhgarden@gmail.com. Usually someone is available on Monday who can communicate in ASL.
