Job description

We are a family-owned garden, gift, and outdoor home and furnishings business rooted in the Santa Rosa Beach community. We are seeking a knowledgeable, dependable Garden Sales Associate who is passionate about plants, enjoys working outdoors, and values great customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with plant selection, care guidance, and native horticulture recommendations
  • Provide knowledgeable advice on plants, soils, and garden products
  • Perform retail sales duties including cash handling, POS transactions, and order management
  • Receive, move, stage, and transport plants and garden materials
  • Maintain the appearance and organization of garden and retail areas
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
  • Support daily operations

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with horticulture, plants, or native species required
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and safely move large plants and materials to include unloading/loading freight trucks
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, and working outdoors for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Cash handling and retail sales experience preferred
  • Must already live in or near the Santa Rosa Beach / 30A area
