Job description

The Club at Crested Butte is currently hiring Seasonal, Part-Time Dishwashers to support the Food & Beverage team during the busy season. This position is ideal for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour BOE
General Purpose:
The Dishwasher position will embody the Club at Crested Butte's standards of service and member experience.
Essential Duties:
  • Wash and sanitize soiled plates and flatware thoroughly.
  • Ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas as required.
  • Help prepare dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
  • Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots and pans, mixers, etc. as needed.
  • Assist in unloading and storing deliveries.
  • Sweep and mop floors, especially if items are broken or spilled.
  • Maintain an organized, safe workstation.
  • Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
  • Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
  • Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures to Executive Chef/manager.

Physical Demands:
  • Physical activity may include long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping.
  • The employee may be required regularly to reach with arms and hands.
  • The employee may be required to lift 25lbs. to 50 lbs.
  • Noise level can be moderate to loud.
  • Ability to work in humid environment or outdoor weather conditions.

Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Requirements:
  • Ability to work extended hours during golf and holiday seasons.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Possesses high ethical standards.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
