Job Summary

As a Dispatcher, you will work with field operations and customers to make sure scheduled services are completed on time across all Precision Garage Door locations within our network. You'll help solve problems as they happen, share important information, and make sure the right people and tools are in place. You’ll also manage service requests, give accurate appointment details to the team, and help keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and adjust daily technician routes based on location, job type, urgency, and technician skill set
  • Review scheduled appointments to confirm accurate customer information, job details, parts needs, and time windows
  • Serve as a primary communication link between customers, technicians, and management to address service needs and issues
  • Monitor and update the dispatch dashboard to reflect job status, scheduling changes, and technician progress
  • Make professional, customer‑focused calls to collect payment on past‑due accounts and document outcomes
  • Cross‑train with other dispatch team members to provide coverage and support during peak times or absences
  • Schedule and manage return visits related to workmanship concerns, warranty claims, or quality follow‑ups

 Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a dispatch role, preferably in a service-oriented business.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with scheduling software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
