Experienced Residential Garage Door Installer

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Garage Door Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience installing, repairing, and servicing residential garage doors and openers while providing outstanding customer service. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install residential garage doors, garage door openers, and related hardware.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with garage doors and opener systems.
  • Replace springs, cables, rollers, tracks, hinges, weather seals, and other components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
  • Educate homeowners on proper operation and maintenance of their garage door systems.
  • Complete service tickets, work orders, and installation documentation accurately.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
  • Operate lift equipment and ladders to access elevated installation points.
