Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to work onsite with students in a vibrant school setting near Covington, GA. This contract position runs from July 28, 2026, through May 26, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week of meaningful work. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (one required at start; both eventually required)
  • Open to candidates with SLP-CCC or strong Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • Candidates with Speech Language Assistant (SLA) certification through GaPSC are encouraged to apply
  • Not accepting SLPAs (only SLAs)
  • Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
  • Commitment to onsite service delivery only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population, focusing on language, communication, and articulation goals
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students, collaborating with staff and families
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to assess student needs and progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established procedures
