Job description

Job Description:

Overview

Rogue Fitness is the leading provider of American made strength & conditioning equipment and the official equipment supplier for the CrossFit Games. Our products are designed, manufactured and distributed in Columbus, Ohio.
We are hiring an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing and distribution projects from concept through production. You'll apply data-driven analysis, logical problem solving, and a strong understanding of manufacturing operations to improve the layouts, processes, and workflows that directly impact safety, quality, and throughput. This is a hands-on role: you'll work closely with production teams on the floor and front office, testing ideas alongside the people who build our products every day.

This role comes with high expectations and requires the ability to adapt quickly across a wide range of tasks. We're looking for candidates who are energized by variety and fast-paced work, bring strong problem-solving skills, and take ownership of getting things done.

This role is onsite at the Rogue campus in Columbus, OH. Remote work is not available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Responsibilities

  • Support facility, department, and production line layouts to improve material flow, safety, and efficiency

  • Conduct time and motion studies, identify and reduce waste, balance production lines, and implement improvements based on findings

  • Partner directly with production teams to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify issues on the floor and implement practical, hands-on process improvements and corrective actions

  • Analyze operational data to support decisions related to capacity, throughput, and workflow

  • Develop business cases for automation opportunities, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections, and manage projects from approval through implementation

  • Maintain CAD layouts and floor plans in support of manufacturing and warehouse operations

  • Bring a strategic lens to continuous improvement, identifying which initiatives across manufacturing and distribution will drive the greatest long-term impact and prioritizing accordingly

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field

  • Experience in a manufacturing, operations, or industrial engineering environment preferred

  • Familiarity with CAD tools for layouts and floor plans (preferred)

  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles

  • Ability to analyze data and translate findings into practical solutions

  • Hands-on mindset and ability to work effectively with production team members

By applying to Rogue, regardless of the platform you choose to use, you are agreeing to Rogue's preferred methods of communication (i.e. text message). Submitting an application, through whatever online forum is ultimately used, constitutes a knowing and voluntary agreement to send and receive text messages during the recruitment process.
