As a Digital Product Manager Lead Senior within PNC's Digital organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH; Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, PA; Dallas TX; Chicago IL; or Wilmington, DE.
As a Digital Product Manager Lead Senior on our Mobile & Online Banking Security team, you will define and deliver the experiences that protect that trust. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of customer experience, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and digital innovation. You will own the product strategy and roadmap for some of the most critical moments in a customer's digital journey, from sign-in and authentication to device trust, access recovery, and session security. You will lead complex initiatives across mobile, web, and assisted channels while partnering with senior leaders in Technology, Cybersecurity, Fraud, Risk, Compliance, and Operations. Your work will directly influence customer trust, reduce fraud risk, and shape the future of digital banking at scale.
Lead Product Strategy & Vision
Own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for mobile and online banking security experiences.
Define and evolve capabilities including authentication, multi-factor authentication, adaptive challenges, device recognition and binding, session management, and account access recovery.
Make strategic tradeoff decisions that balance customer convenience, fraud risk, regulatory expectations, and long-term platform scalability.
Serve as the product leader and primary decision-maker for digital banking security experiences.
Drive Execution & Delivery
Lead one or more agile product teams responsible for delivering security and authentication capabilities.
Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, epics, features, and user stories.
Coordinate delivery across mobile, web, and enterprise security platforms to create seamless customer experiences.
Navigate complex dependencies and stakeholder priorities to deliver measurable outcomes.
Advance Mobile & Online Banking Security
Lead authentication and access control experiences across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
Partner closely with Cybersecurity and Fraud teams to implement adaptive and risk-based security controls.
Identify opportunities to reduce customer friction while strengthening security posture.
Ensure solutions are resilient, scalable, and capable of supporting millions of users.
Manage Risk & Governance
Operate within a highly regulated environment and partner with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams.
Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reviews.
Ensure product controls, governance practices, and security requirements are clearly documented and effectively executed.
Measure Impact
Define and track key performance indicators including authentication success rates, fraud outcomes, challenge completion rates, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Use customer insights, experimentation, and data-driven decision making to continuously improve performance.
Lead Through Influence
Build alignment across Digital Banking, Technology, Cybersecurity, Fraud, Risk, and Operations.
Communicate strategy, priorities, and outcomes to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
Coach and mentor product managers while helping strengthen product management excellence across the organization.
A successful candidate will have:
7+ years of product management experience leading large-scale customer-facing digital products.
Proven success managing mobile and/or online banking experiences in regulated or high-risk environments.
Strong understanding of authentication and access management concepts, including MFA, device trust, risk-based authentication, and session controls.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving technology, security, and business stakeholders.
Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence and drive decisions across diverse stakeholder groups without direct authority.
Experience with mobile security, biometrics, passwordless authentication, or digital identity products.
Knowledge of FIDO, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, or related identity and access management technologies.
Direct partnership experience with Cybersecurity, Fraud, and Enterprise Risk organizations.
Financial services or fintech experience.
