passionate and results-driven Marketing Director to lead our marketing team, with a

strong focus on cross-functional collaboration, innovative content development, and

Role Overview

The Marketing Director will be responsible for leading the development and execution of

strategic marketing plans across various channels, including creative services, game

development, paid media, PR, and more. This individual will collaborate with cross-

functional teams to ensure alignment with game development and operational goals,

oversee project and department budgets, and maintain a pulse on industry trends to

stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Execution

Savvy in digital marketing experience, with a strong understanding of paid media,

SEO/SEM, social campaigns, and emerging digital platforms.

Sensitive to data analytics, able to identify key insights, monitor KPIs, and

translate metrics into actionable plans.

Able to strategize from data analysis, using player behavior, campaign results,

and trend data to optimize marketing performance.

Experience in creative content creation, ensuring engaging, high-quality visual

and written materials across all marketing channels.

Develop comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the target audience and

market trends, covering areas such as advertising, brand promotion, and content

marketing.

Collaborate closely with product and operations teams to formulate ad strategies

that adapt throughout the game lifecycle, leveraging market feedback to

continually optimize performance.

Cross-Department Collaboration and Communication

Work in partnership with product, operations, creative design, and data analysis

teams to ensure marketing strategies align with development and operational

objectives.

Provide regular updates to senior management, sharing ad performance insights

and strategic recommendations aimed at increasing Snail Games' global

footprint.

Content Development and Strategy

Lead the team in the creation and execution of content strategies, including the

production of game trailers, social media assets, Steam videos, and other

marketing collateral.

Identify innovative creative opportunities and partnerships to enhance marketing

efforts, while overseeing the project management of these initiatives with

developers, publishers, and marketing contractors.

Budget Planning and Financial Oversight

Spearhead department and project budget planning processes, recommending

paid media spend necessary to meet game and company objectives.

Oversee campaign pacing and budget alignment, collaborating with activation

and regional teams to ensure media plans reflect approved budgets.

Campaign Management and Optimization

Direct the marketing team in the planning, execution, and oversight of marketing

campaigns, guaranteeing alignment with the overall marketing strategy and

goals.

Monitor industry trends in gaming, social media, and digital marketing, adapting

strategies to stay current and competitive.

Utilize a structured framework to brief activation and analytics teams on tactical

plans, ensuring media plans align with strategic objectives.

Track campaign performance and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders,

identifying potential risks and proposing solutions.

Communication and Cross-Functional Leadership

Act as the primary point of contact for all marketing project-related

communication, ensuring clear and effective communication across teams

(creative, development, PR, operations, legal, etc.) and facilitating smooth

collaboration with Chinese partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree

preferred.

Proven experience (7+ years) in marketing roles within the gaming or

entertainment industries.

Demonstrated expertise in leading marketing campaigns across various

channels, including digital, social, and paid media.

Strong project management skills with experience overseeing budgets and

timelines.

Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

In-depth knowledge of current trends in gaming and digital marketing.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus, given our global

partnerships.

Compensation

Salary: $120,000 to $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
