Job description

Game Master/Customer Service Representative

Get paid to people watch! Brainstorm Escapes is live action gaming in which participants must solve a series of clues, puzzles, and riddles to escape a themed room within 60 minutes. This provides our employees with a unique experience to learn skills that will benefit them later in their careers.

Our Game Master/Customer Service Reps are known as "Brainstorm Troopers." They're the people who watch players and give hints during our escape games. They are also responsible for daily upkeep to help keep the store running efficiently for the best customer experience possible.

Some of the specifics are (but not limited to):

  • Providing and maintaining excellent customer service relations
  • Giving intros and outros to players
  • Guiding customers through rooms
  • Maintaining a clean facility
  • Answering phone calls
  • Fixing issues that arise during live events

This position is an hourly starting at $9 per hour, typically 6-20 hours per week. We are regularly open to the public seven days a week; we also take corporate and special event bookings by appointments outside our regular hours. While most of our games take place in the evening, our ideal candidate has some late morning or afternoon availability, as well.
