The facility will provide an atmosphere of community to sports clubs, event organizers, and participants and will focus on five principle offerings: Sports training programs, clinics, and campsSports performance trainingYouth and adult leagues, tournaments, and eventsFun, affordable, family entertainment and food & beverageFacility rental for corporate meetings and social gathering eventsPOSITION SUMMARYThe Sports Operations Team Member will be responsible for a variety of sports duties dependant upon the sports program need for the day, providing participants a quality program experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include:Assist Director of Sports Programs in various administrative responsibilities for leagues and other sports' programmingAssist in set-up of all play areasArrange for and schedule appropriate staffing to implement sports programming in assigned sports and activities Coordinate and lead game support staffing (scorekeepers, game clock operators, etc.) Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as needed Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staffInteract with the public regarding various aspects of leagues, programs, and events Work with other facility staff to resolve guest concerns and complaints Assist facility staff in understanding and enforcing the facility's policies, and proceduresMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust have the ability to work with a wide variety of ages Must having experience in working with youth sports as a coach, league administrator or event coordinatorFlexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours) and regular attendance necessaryAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsMust be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders and fellow Team MembersCommitment to the safety and wellbeing of othersWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to lift 40 pounds waist highWill be required to stand for extended periods of timeAble to enter information on computersFacility has intermittent noise
