The Electronic Gaming Machine Team Member (EGM TM) is responsible for greeting all guests in a pleasant, courteous and enthusiastic manner on the Gaming Floor while assisting guests with various money-related transactions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promptly provides first response and assessment of Electronic Gaming Machines requiring service and performs minor machine maintenance as needed.
  • Redeems Cashout Vouchers into currency for guests and exchanges coins for cash while dealing with cash exchanges.
  • Verifies EGM fills and verifies/performs hand pays.
  • Performs accounting function and completes associated paperwork.
  • Answers guestโ€™s questions by being readily available in assigned Casino Floor areas.
  • Safeguards Three Rivers Casino assets and balances assigned bank accurately.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Learns, comprehends and complies with all casino and tribal policies and procedures, MICS, gaming regulations and job requirements.
  • Maintains awareness of, and effectively communicates to other staff, company promotions, events and programs.ย 
  • Provides information and explains Players Club benefits, property amenities and marketing programs to our guests.
  • May take drink orders and run takeout food as needed to assist the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Other duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. ย  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY

  • Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.
  • Six months cash handling experience preferred.
  • Must have an OLCC Permit at the time of hire.
  • General understanding of computer programs, including all windows applications required.ย 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
  • Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
  • Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.ย ย 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.
