Game Studio information

What is a game studio?

A Game Studio job involves working in a team to design, develop, and produce video games. Roles vary widely, including game design, programming, art, animation, sound design, and quality assurance. Game studio employees collaborate to bring creative ideas to life, ensuring smooth gameplay and an engaging player experience. Depending on the studio's size, responsibilities may be highly specialized or involve multiple aspects of development.

What does the typical workflow look like in a game studio environment?

A typical workflow in a Game Studio involves close collaboration between multidisciplinary teams such as designers, artists, programmers, and producers. Projects often progress through distinct phases: concept development, prototyping, production, testing, and post-launch support. Daily responsibilities may include team meetings to coordinate tasks, creative brainstorming sessions, code or art reviews, and iterative development based on feedback. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, encouraging ongoing learning and the sharing of ideas to achieve a shared vision for each game.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the game studio position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Game Studio, a team collectively needs strong skills in game design, programming, project management, and art production, often supported by degrees in computer science, graphic design, or related fields. Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Unity or Unreal Engine, version control systems, and production pipelines is essential, along with relevant certifications. Excellent communication, creativity, and collaborative problem-solving are important soft skills for navigating multidisciplinary teamwork and evolving project requirements. These capabilities ensure the successful development, launch, and maintenance of high-quality games in a competitive market.

EMS Trainer
Body20 Salt Lake City | Full-Time / Part-Time | Salt Lake City, UT
ABOUT BODY20 SALT LAKE CITY
Body20 Salt Lake City is a premium EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) training studio. We help busy people build strength, improve posture, increase energy, and look stronger — all in a 20-minute session.
Our clients are serious about results. Our trainers make those results happen. Every session. Every client. Every time.
THE ROLE
We're hiring an EMS Trainer who leads with energy, sells with confidence, and genuinely cares about client outcomes.
This is a coaching, sales, and retention role. You'll build relationships, guide transformations, and represent the Body20 brand with pride every single day.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead semi private EMS training sessions using our technology and protocols
• Onboard and educate new clients — make them feel confident from day one
• Follow up consistently to drive client retention and commitment
• Sell memberships and training packages to qualified leads
• Track client progress and adjust programs to keep results coming
• Support daily studio operations and keep the space guest-ready
• Show up as a brand ambassador — warm, professional, and motivated
WHO WE HELP
We serve busy professionals, athletes, new moms, seniors, and anyone who wants real results without spending hours in the gym. Our clients trust us because our trainers build real relationships — not just workout routines.
YOUR GROWTH PATH
Start strong. Build your book. Grow with us.
Trainers who consistently show up, build their client base, and align with our culture move into senior training roles and studio leadership positions. We promote from within. If you're here for the long game, so are we.
YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU ARE...
• High energy — you light up a room and clients feel it immediately
• A natural communicator — clear, warm, and confident in person
• Comfortable with sales — you genuinely enjoy helping people say yes
• A fast learner who adapts quickly and asks great questions
• Team-oriented — you lift others up, not just yourself
• Loyal to the brand — you represent Body20 with pride, on and off the floor
• Long-term focused — you want to grow with us, not just collect a paycheck
• Humble — you're coachable, curious, and always improving
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Required:
• Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
• Customer service or sales experience
• Strong communication skills — verbal and written
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Available evenings and weekends
Preferred (not required):
• Personal training or group fitness certification
• EMS experience — we will train the right person
• Experience with CRM or sales tracking tools
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Base pay: $15–$18/hour depending on experience + training sessions pay
• Performance bonuses tied to sales and client retention
• Complimentary EMS sessions for staff
• Growth into senior training and leadership roles
• A team that invests in you as much as you invest in us
DO NOT APPLY IF THESE TRAITS DESCRIBE YOU
We respect everyone's time — including yours. This role is not the right fit if you:
• Prefer to work alone or feel drained by constant client interaction
• Find sales uncomfortable or avoid asking for the close
• Are looking for a short-term job rather than a long-term career
• Need rigid structure and struggle in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Lead with ego rather than service and humility
• Have low energy or find it hard to consistently engage and motivate others
• Operate independently and resist team culture or brand standards
• Are more analytical and reserved than warm, action-oriented, and people-driven
If those traits sound like you, this role will frustrate you — and that's okay. We'd rather you find your perfect fit elsewhere.
