Job Summary
The Systems Engineer supports and maintains AEG Presents' IT infrastructure with a focus on Saas applications like Office 365, AWS, Google Workspace, Slack, Dropbox, Teams, Jamf, Intune, user endpoint device management, endpoint management and audio visual conferencing. This role ensures secure, efficient, and stable system operations by providing Tier 2 technical support and collaborating across teams to implement and maintain modern IT solutions.
Essential Functions
  • Saas Application Support: Assist in the administration and support of Saas applications like Office 365, AWS, Google Workspace, Slack, Dropbox, Teams, Jamf, Intune, user endpoint device management, ensuring they are running smoothly and securely. Provide technical support to end-users and address any issues related to Saas applications.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches on servers, operating systems, and cloud-based systems to ensure compliance and security standards are
  • Cloud System Support: Assist in the provisioning and configuration of cloud-based systems, ensuring they adhere to defined security Support cloud automation workflows to optimize efficiency.
  • Business Application Integration: Support the integration between Saas applications and other IT systems to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
  • Endpoint Management: Assist in the management of user endpoints, including the administration of MDM solutions such as JAMF and Intune. Ensure that endpoints are configured to meet security and compliance standards
  • AV Conferencing Support: Help provide tier 2 support for audiovisual (AV)conferencing system incidents, including the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of conference room
  • Documentation: Manage accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting Contribute to the preparation of regular reports on system performance and incidents.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and other IT teams to support the organization's IT infrastructure and Saas applications. Contribute to team efforts in implementing new technologies and system upgrades.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to IT systems and Saas Seek opportunities to improve skills and knowledge in relevant areas.
Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2-4 years experience in the IT
  • Experience in Office 365
  • Proficiency in Active Directory
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or
  • Hands-on experience with MDM solutions like JAMF or
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure systems including Windows/Linux servers, Microsoft and Apple operating
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and Saas platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom).
  • Understanding of security principles such as identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and end-
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL V4, JAMF, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator).
  • Experience in Intune and/or JAMF
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint and Atlassian
  • Familiarity with AV systems and conference room

Payscale: $82,924.00- $136,500
Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
