Location: Jeffersonville, IN

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality initiatives and oversee quality systems within a growing automotive manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for driving product and process quality, ensuring compliance with customer and industry requirements, and leading a team focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high performance standards.
  • Oversee quality systems and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
  • Lead APQP activities and ensure successful PPAP submissions and new product launches.
  • Manage and maintain quality core tools including PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, PPAP, SPC, and related documentation.
  • Serve as Management Representative for internal and external quality audits.
  • Drive corrective actions and structured problem-solving initiatives utilizing 8D methodology.
  • Partner with customers to address quality concerns, resolve issues, and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through quality and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Oversee calibration programs to ensure measurement and testing equipment meets industry standards.
  • Manage quality-related project milestones and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Provide leadership for hiring training, coaching, performance management, and employee development within the quality department.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of quality leadership experience within automotive manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and related quality methodologies.
  • Proven experience leading customer quality initiatives and resolving customer concerns.
  • Ability to serve as Lead Auditor and train internal auditors.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, metrology, and technical drawings.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Experience with heat treating, surface treating, or related manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Global Shop Solutions experience is a plus.
  • Experience using Minitab or other statistical analysis software.
