Your role as a Quality Assurance Lead

As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with our commitment to excellence. You’ll serve as the QA management representative, overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include conducting internal and external audits to ensure adherence to ISO standards, analyzing data, and managing quality documentation.

As a key player in our integrated quality process, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer and product issues while fostering effective working relationships with both internal and external clients. You will contribute to continuous improvement by leading initiatives, developing corrective and preventive action plans, and coordinating material non-conformity processes. This dynamic position requires strong leadership, extensive quality expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

What you need to be successful

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Minimum of Associate Degree and/or equivalent of 5-8 years of direct quality assurance experience.
  • Ability to meet all Lead Auditor qualifications referred to in NQA-1-1994 
  • Must have a detailed understanding of ISO
  • Ability to act as lead instructor and facilitator during quality related training events.
  • Adaptable and takes ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  •  Must have strong organizational and communication skills, written, and verbal.
  •  Able to work with cross functional groups within the organization.
  •  Demonstrate problem solving and corrective action skills.
  •  Strong computer skills/experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  •  Ability to troubleshoot and make value-added suggestions.
  •  Must be self-motivated and work with little or no supervision.
  •  Demonstrates integrity and transparency; fully explains own position and confronts hidden agendas; does the right thing without worrying about personal sacrifice.
  • Demonstrates a focus on delivering value to both internal and external customers.
