About The Role
Payment Operations Associates are integral members of the finance team, resolving check depositing queries, working with the bank, reconciling batches, and troubleshooting with the Relay IT team. Additionally, our Payment Operations team will review customer deposits on a daily basis and assist with resolving customer inquiries and complaints. Working on the frontline of collections, the Payment Operations Associate will call customers for disputed credit card payments, bounced checks, and unpaid invoices in order to collect amounts owed to the company.
  • Contact customers by telephone to perform payment verification procedures and process refunds in partnership with our Customer Support team
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying and recording refunds received from clients
  • Reconcile the check deposit ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Review Positive Pay exceptions on a daily basis
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues
  • Apply customer wire and ACH deposits in the Relay Admin portal
  • Keep electronic records of all communications, payment plans agreed to, and amounts paid by clients
  • Works on ad hoc projects, as required
  • This role works on-site at our office at Cobb Galleria 8am-4pm Monday-Friday
