Sr. Associate, Marketing Operations

TheSr. Associate, Marketing Operationswill serve as a critical engine driving the DIG department forwardwith an operational mindset.She/heThis personwillwork closely and collaborativelywith the overallMarketing teamand cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited tocentral planning, procurement,community, communications, andthepeople team.Thisrole sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, managing project timelines, cross-functional campaigns, and critical Games-time planning.A successful candidate willwork as a project manager on select projectsacross social media,digital content,website, mobile app,emailmarketingand fan/spectatorcommunications.This person will be a key protector of the LA28 brand and a key contributor in building a legacy for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement through the lens of the fans and athletes.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
  • Act as a primary project manager for the VP, Marketing and Digital Engagement, ensuring special projects are tracked, milestones are met and deliverables are executed flawlessly
  • Build,maintain, and manage master project timelines forspecific projects and organizational milestones
  • Serve as the central connective tissue between core digital functions, working closely with Integrated Marketing,Social Media, Digital Content, Web, App, and Email Marketing teams
Operations & Games-time Planning
  • Ownthe administrative and operational planning for Games-time execution, ensuring schedules, resources, and workflows areoptimizedfrom Pre-Games to Games-timereadiness
  • Establish andmaintainproject management frameworks, templates, and tools like Smartsheet and Asana to streamline communication and workflows across all marketing sub-functions
  • Facilitate key cross-functional alignment meetings, capturing action items and riving accountability across internal teams
Stakeholder Relations & Presentations
  • Represent DIGas a point of contactand ensure alignmenton shifting priorities, deliverables, and deadlinesfor cross-functional stakeholders, external stakeholderssuch as USOPC, IOC, and IPC, and partners
  • Draftpresentationson key projects toshow progress reportsand milestone deliverables
Background & Requirements
  • Minimum4+years of direct experience in sports business, marketingoperationsor related marketing environment
  • Strong operational and program execution skillsrequiredwith a keen focuson accuracy, organization, and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Provenabilityto juggle multiple complex projects simultaneously without letting detailsslip through the cracks
  • Excellent presentation preparation skills and ability to work successfully with varied audiences (internal and external stakeholders)

  • Knowledge and first-hand experience within the sports marketing industry.Experience in the Olympic or Paralympic Movements is a plus

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
  • The majority ofwork will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
  • The LA28 office is anopen floorplanworking environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in anopen cubicleenvironment.
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
  • Perform other duties asrequired; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games

The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000.00 - $98,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28โ€™s operational business needs and applicable law.

LA28 does not provide relocation assistance.
