The Role

Our Creative team is seeking an experienced Creative Director, Gaming to lead the creative pipeline for multiple world-renowned gaming clients. With a strong understanding of game marketing, intellectual property launches, and live‑service models, you will support strategic direction, guide multidisciplinary team members, and ensure creative work meets world‑class excellence. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in leading integrated marketing campaigns, including AAA, mobile, indie, and GaaS titles. You are comfortable translating audience insights and game positioning into breakthrough creative execution, collaborating closely with Strategy and Client Services teams to drive impactful results. In this role, you will provide hands‑on creative leadership from platform development through execution. Responsibilities include overseeing hero video assets, defining visual identity systems, and guiding integrated campaign development across social, influencer, and experiential touchpoints. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent, high‑standard craft across all deliverables. Because this role focuses heavily on the global gaming audience, a strong understanding of social‑first campaign development and modern platform behaviors is essential.

Here’s What You’ll Do Creative Platform & Execution
  • Develop scalable and inspiring creative platforms that unify campaign assets across announce, launch, and major updates.
  • Oversee the direction of game trailers and hero video assets, guiding narrative approach, tone, and editorial finishing.
  • Define and evolve visual identity systems that extend cohesively across all integrated campaign ecosystems and formats.
Client Partnership & Strategy
  • Serve as a senior client‑facing creative authority, presenting work with clarity and building trusted partnerships.
  • Partner closely with Strategy to translate audience insights (utilizing tools like GWI and Pulsar) and business objectives into breakthrough creative.
  • Contribute to new business efforts by bringing strong creative points of view and campaign thinking to pitch opportunities.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary creative teams, providing clear direction and maintaining high standards of craft.
  • Create an inspiring environment where all ideas are welcome and team members are encouraged to produce culturally sharp work.
  • Guide integrated campaign development across social, influencer, paid media, and emerging platforms to ensure cultural relevance.
Here’s What It Takes
  • 10+ years of experience in games marketing, preferably within an agency environment
  • Proven track record leading integrated marketing campaigns for AAA, live‑service, mobile, and/or indie titles
  • Deep understanding of global gaming audiences, platform behaviors (PC, console, mobile), and the evolving entertainment landscape
  • Experience collaborating with strategy teams to translate positioning into compelling creative work
  • Expertise guiding visual identity systems across multi‑channel campaign ecosystems
  • Fluency in production workflows, including live‑action, gameplay capture, and post‑production pipelines
  • Ability to oversee multiple large‑scale accounts and timelines simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong understanding of social‑first and influencer‑led campaign development within gaming culture
  • Proficiency with data‑driven methodologies, including working toward specific OKRs and KPIs
  • Familiarity with agency tech stack tools such as Sprout Social, GWI, and Pulsar is a plus
