Summary
The Game Management FWS student workers play a vital role in the successful execution of all SXU Athletic home events. This position supports the athletic department by assisting with the setup, operation, and breakdown of home games and events. Ideal candidates are dependable, professional, and passionate about sports and event operations. Ideal Candidates will strive to make SXU events an enjoyable experience for the student athletes and fans.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist with pre-game setup (e.g. field/court preparation, signage, score tables, seating, equipment)
• Operate game-day equipment (e.g. announcer, ball rolling, Chain Gang, scoreboard, shot clock, sound system, ticket takers, video streaming)
• Serve as a liaison for officials, teams, and spectators during events
• Support crowd control and maintain a safe environment
• Help with post-game breakdown of facilities
• Run errands or assist with tasks as directed by supervisors
• Represent the athletics department with professionalism and courtesy
Qualifications
MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctual and reliable
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and campus breaks.
• Ability to follow directions and remain calm under pressure
