Reportingto the Games Manager/Pit Supervisor/Pit Boss, the Table GamesDealer-Tainer functions within the regular Table Games environment and thedealer in the Pulse/electronic environment, both aspects are responsiblefor dealing games to guests in accordance with Alberta Gaming Liquor &Cannabis (AGLC) Terms and Conditions while providing excellent and engagingcustomer service.  This role is critical to the success of ourbusiness and always maintains a professional manner. 

        Welcomesguests to the table and deals games, including card, dice, tile and otherapproved games, in accordance with AGLC Terms and Conditions.

        Respondsto guest issues and escalates concerns as required.

        Monitorschips and cash and ensures the integrity of the game.

        Observesproblematic guest behaviors and reports them to the Supervisor as required.

 Promotesand maintains the highest levels of integrity and customer service, reportingconcerns to management promptly.

        Actsas a strong team player and exemplifies outstanding guest service for internaland external guests.

        Develops,cultivates and maintains strong working relationships with guests, ownership,employees, AGLC, the community and charitable organizations.

        Ensurescompliance with AGLC policies, ACE Casino policies, procedures andrequirements.

        Ensurescompliance with licensing laws, health and safety requirements and otherstatutory regulations.

        Providesoutstanding guest service by responding promptly to guest needs and requests.

        Performsother duties as assigned or directed. 

        Completesand maintains the responsibilities and duties of a Table Games Dealer.

        Completeselectronic opening, closing and game maintenance activities in Pulse Arena whencommencing or ending a shift.

        Activelypromotes marketing campaigns, department promotions, events and relatedinitiatives while assigned Dealer-Tainer duties.

        Assessesand responds to players in the Pulse/electronic environment to ensure they areengaged and entertained.

        Providesan enhanced player experience focused on entertainment gaming.

        Performsother duties as assigned or directed.

        Minimumhigh school education or a suitable combination of education and experience.

        Minimumsix (6) months of dealing experience required in one or more of the followinggames:

        Blackjack

        Baccarat

        Roulette

        Publicspeaking experience is considered a strong asset. 

        Abilityto speak fluent English is mandatory; fluency in additional languages is anasset.

        Strongwork ethic with the ability to maintain professionalism and a high level ofconfidentiality.

        Knowledgeof gaming controls.

        Demonstratedability to maintain effective table control, including game speed, observation,engagement and protection of game integrity.

        Abilityto maintain a minimum of 20 hands per hour.

        Willingnessto improve current dealer skills and expand dealing portfolio whenopportunities are available.

        Abilityto recognize signs of collusion, team play, angling, misinterpretation,manipulation of house rules, breaches of AGLC requirements and relatedconcerns.

        Excellentverbal and written communication skills.

        Abilityto quickly adapt conversation based on patron verbal and non-verbal feedback.

        Abilityto craft and execute entertainment-based game dealing while maintaining fullgame integrity.

        Excellentinterpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.

        Experiencedealing with VIP guests is considered an asset. 

        Mustbe a minimum of 18 years of age.

        Abilityto successfully pass a criminal background check.

        Currentand valid AGLC gaming worker registration, or ability to successfully become aregistered gaming worker.

        RequiredAGLC certifications include Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Certification and DealUs In Phase 1.

        AGLCcertifications including Deal Us In Phase 2 and ProServe are considered assets.

        Readyand willing to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights,weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.

        Knowledgeof AGLC Terms and Conditions and Operating Guidelines.

        Knowledgeand ability to clearly explain operating house rules to guests and employees.

        Professionaldemeanor and ability to approach situations tactfully.

        Abilityto work calmly under pressure, treat others with respect and demonstrate strongattention to detail.

        Musthave reliable transportation to and from work.

General Work Conditionsand Physical & Mental Requirements

        Stand/Sit:Must be able to remain in a stationary seated or standing position for most ofthe shift. Table rotations may not include seated roles and may requirestanding throughout the shift.

        Walk/Mobility:Must be able to move throughout employee and public areas of the casino.

        Fine Motor Skills: Continuous tactile use of both hands and fingers to deal cards, paychips and complete related tasks.

        Speaking/Hearing: Frequently communicates with guests and employees throughout the shiftand must be able to exchange accurate information professionally.

        Visual Acuity:At least 20/40 vision in either or both eyes, with or without correctivelenses.

        Environment:Indoor, fast-paced, high-engagement, guest-facing environment.

        Mental Acuity:Requires strong attention to detail, high cognitive functionality and emotionalmanagement.
