What You'll Do
We are looking for a game producer to join our Rocket League team. In this position you'll partner with development leads to drive processes, deliver results, and unblock your team to do their best work. Ideal candidates excel in organization, have exceptional social skills, and are experts at managing schedules of complex projects. If you're passionate about Rocket League and excited about working with cutting-edge technology, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you will
  • Facilitate development operations - work on one or more development pods focusing on particular verticals of the game and ensure timely delivery to meet our goals, deadlines, and milestones. Schedule relevant meetings, facilitate reviews, and capture and drive action items and next steps for your team(s)
  • Build and facilitate the schedule - Scope and schedule the desired work for the team. Maintain project plans, schedules, and roadmap. Consider dependencies across multiple development teams to ensure successful deliveries
  • Proactively seek resolutions - strong ability to identify problems, and propose solutions, for your team before they become roadblocks. Own the outcome of your area, and never wait to see if someone else will clear your path
  • Be a flexible multitasker - ability to handle multiple large production needs within your development pod(s). Understand how to identify and break down prioritizations, and keep up strong communication across multiple outlets: email, Slack, meetings, and documentation
  • Be the center of communication - provide transparency on project status and risks to stakeholders in order to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts. Communicate frequently with the rest of the production team and project leads on status, risks, and opportunities
  • Support all of your team's production needs including, but not limited to, planning; scheduling; task tracking; and bug triage

  • 4+ Years experience working in a production role, managing cross-functional teams in the creation and delivery of complex projects
  • Deep understanding of game development, software development process, and project management practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude; strong preference for applicants with game development experience
  • Experience in an environment where you had to exhibit amazing problem-solving skills daily, viewing each new problem as an opportunity for success
  • Self-starter, you approach challenges creatively and methodically, seeing them through to final resolution
  • Have the ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders, within your team and throughout the company
  • Ability to drive high velocity, high impact development cycles, balancing out short-term needs and long-term vision
  • Ability to adapt and be effective in ambiguous situations within a highly dynamic environment
