SUMMARY

Under general direction and supervision of the Manager of Game Presentation. This position is responsible for handling, preparing, and executing all live elements at Brooklyn Nets home games for the 2026-2027 season. In addition, the selected candidate(s) will support leadership in proving a world-class game experience for fans in attendance. As part of the Game Night Crew, you will become an integral member of the team which supports the Game Presentation and Events department within the organization. This position is part-time position but will
require late nights and open availability for a majority (70%) of Brooklyn Nets home games as well as select special events at Barclays Center. The incumbent must be available 3.5 hours before each game starts in addition to one hour after the game concludes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Providing administrative support in coordinating all game contests, entertainment performances, and live camera hits. This can include selecting contestants, organizing prizes, prepping performers, going over details with in-arena hosts, etc.
  • Assisting in the logistics, setup, service and daily operations of games and ensuring consistently smooth execution of each game
  • Escorting and coordinating on-site experience for entertainment groups and talent that enter Barclays Center on a given date while also maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Working closely with the Brooklyn Nets Entertainment Team Leads and Barclays Center arena staff in communicating necessary details on game days.
  • Organizing Game Presentation storage space and pulling the game specific items to facilitate future giveaways during a game.
  • Supporting in-arena hosts at select games, reviewing details prior to contests, as well as camera blocking during live hits.
  • Collaborating with in-house production crew at Barclays Center on specific needs during live elements (e.g. cameras, mics, lighting, etc.)
  • Creating a high energy environment in the arena on any given night and playing a crucial role in hyping up our crowd regardless of the score.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Previous experience in Sports and Entertainment preferred.
  • Currently attending a university or graduated as well as having interest in the Game Presentation space.

  • Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where attention to detail is critical for success;

  • Must have some knowledge in sports terminology and basketball operations;
  • Must be punctual based on call times as well as have reliable transportation;
  • Must exhibit sound judgment and discretion at all times with confidential information

COMPENSATION

  • $20/hour

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  1. Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  2. Work Environment: The incumbent will work at Barclays Center and be expected to attend Brooklyn Nets games, as well as other events that may take place on weekends and/or holidays at Barclays Center.
  3. Attendance: The incumbent is required to be available for at least 70% of all Brooklyn Nets home games.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position may require travel up to 5% - for gamedays and outside events in Brooklyn/Larger NYC Metro area.
