Plumbing Technician
Department: Engineering
Direct Supervisor: Chief Engineer
Status: Full-time
Summary:
The Plumbing Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial plumbing systems at Hard Rock Stadium.
Location:
  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, install, and repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes
  • Interpret and apply mechanical and structural blueprints to plan plumbing repairs and modifications
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each job
  • Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean
  • Respond to emergency calls as needed
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Plumbing training program or apprenticeship.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in plumbing maintenance and repair.
  • Skills:
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of electrical and HVACR systems.
    • Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand tools effectively.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, standing, and working in confined spaces.
  • Work is performed in various settings at the stadium. May require working in extreme temperatures and confined spaces. Use of protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
