Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale, multi-year modernization initiative within the treasury and gaming regulatory sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with deep experience managing enterprise-level IT projects in a hybrid, multi-vendor environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources using enterprise project portfolio management tools.
  • Prepare executive and stakeholder presentations, reports, and documentation.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with defined cost, scope, timeline, quality, and risk objectives.
  • Drive collaboration among business and technical teams to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, risk and issue logs, communication plans, change requests, and closeout reports.
  • Lead change management processes to ensure all project adjustments are approved and documented.
  • Create and monitor Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) when projects are in yellow or red status.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables meet defined contractual and quality standards.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and ensure timely completion of key milestones and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in IT project management within structured methodologies.
  • 7+ years of experience completing projects on time and within budget.
  • 7+ years of experience managing budgets, schedules, risk, issues, and change requests.
  • 7+ years preparing and presenting project status reports.
  • 5+ years of experience with project portfolio management tools.
  • 5+ years of advanced experience using MS Project.
  • 5+ years managing stakeholders across multiple departments or agencies.
  • 5+ years of experience leading IT projects involving Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solutions.
  • 5+ years managing projects in multi-vendor environments, ideally within government or regulatory settings.
