Job description

Job Title: General Manager

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Salary: $56,000 - $60,000/year (DOE)


What We're Looking For:


We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-energy sports bar and grill location for a large multi-unit franchise organization. This is a full-service, high-volume environment built around a strong bar program, game-day traffic, and an atmosphere designed to keep guests in the building. The General Manager owns the day-to-day operation and the overall performance of the restaurant.


The ideal candidate brings solid knowledge of the business, including labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and safety and security procedures. Prior restaurant management experience is required, and a bachelor's degree is a plus. Above all, this company is looking for a team-focused leader with a real passion for training and developing people. This role is also eligible for a monthly bonus program.


Key Responsibilities


  • Own day-to-day operations and overall performance of a high-volume sports bar location.
  • Lead the management team and drive Team Member execution across every shift.
  • Deliver an outstanding guest experience, especially during peak and game-day volume.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop both managers and hourly Team Members.
  • Manage labor, food cost, beverage cost, inventory, and controllable expenses to budget.
  • Ensure compliance with health codes, food safety, responsible alcohol service, and labor law.
  • Lead in-house marketing initiatives and execute the brand's guest rewards program.
  • Maintain facility standards, cleanliness, and a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Review operating results and build action plans to close performance gaps.
  • Build bench strength and support career progression within the management team.
