What you will be doing

The Reach Operations Intern assists with general administrative and operations tasks as determined and directed by the Chief Ministry Officer and Outreach and Engagement Coordinator. The Reach Operations Intern will be responsible for assisting the staff with general office duties in support of the ministries of the Household Group, including, but not limited to, Reach, Suit & Shepherd, More Than a Game, & Varsity Leadership Academy.

You will be responsible for…
  • Administrative Support for all Reach ministries
  • Email communication with internal stakeholders, community partners, donors, etc.
  • Operations support for ministries including delivery of ministry materials to community partners
  • Receipting of expenses and donations for the ministries
  • Assisting on projects and events for the Reach Team
  • Assisting in communications for Reach outreach initiatives including Varsity Leadership Academy and More Than a Game
  • Assist and facilitate staff as necessary - whenever and however needed.
  • Assist with business development matters including material preparation.
  • Participate and help organize in events, outreach, and engagement areas of Reach.

Qualifications:
  • High degree of organizational skill and problem-solving ability; specifically, the ability to work as a self- starter.

  • Aptitude for visual design and creativity
Education / Experience:
  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • 1 or more years of office administrative assistant experience preferred
Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax. This position must work well in a team oriented, fast paced setting and can handle interruptions while maintaining productivity and accuracy.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
