Company:Cherokee Nation Entertainment

  • High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Previous experience as a cashier or bookkeeper is preferred but not required. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority. 
  • Retrieve and organize all necessary paperwork for auditing. 
  • Conduct audits on cashier paperwork and ensure all documents are properly submitted. 
  • Verify that cashiers have followed all policies and procedures, including obtaining required signatures. 
  • Input cashier reports and journal entries into balancing spreadsheets and accounting software. 
  • Prepare scorecards to document cashier audit exceptions. 
  • Research and resolve any discrepancies, including over/short discrepancies identified at the bank. 
  • Manage player points/comps by expensing them to the appropriate issuing department.
