Job description

Position Title: Game Night Production Apprenticeship
Team: Atlanta Gladiators (ECHL)
Type: Apprenticeship
Location: Gas South Arena - Duluth, GA
The Atlanta Gladiators are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Game Night Production Apprenticeship program for the 2026-27 season. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in live sports production while contributing to the energy and entertainment of Gladiators home games.
Apprentices will support our in-game presentation and streaming broadcasts by assisting in key roles such as camera operation, video board operations, replay coordination, technical directing, and audio control. If you're passionate about hockey, broadcasting, or live event production, this is a great first step into the industry.
What You'll Do:
  • Help with setup and teardown of game day production equipment
  • Operate cameras to capture live game action, crowd reactions, and in-arena entertainment
  • Assist with running replays, switching video feeds, and supporting the technical director during the live broadcast
  • Operate the audio board for music, effects, and announcements during the game
  • Follow direction from the Game Operations and Production teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain awareness of shot framing, lighting, and sound quality
  • Control Room Support on game nights, stepping in as needed at a variety of positions
  • Work closely with other crew members to ensure a smooth and engaging show for fans in the arena and online

What We're Looking For:
  • Interest in sports media, video production, or live event broadcasting
  • Some experience with cameras, audio equipment, or production software is a plus but not required
  • Ability to take direction and stay focused in high-energy, high-pressure situations
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting equipment up to 35 pounds
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-first attitude
  • Must be available for most Gladiators home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Professional attitude when interacting with fans, players, staff, and partners
