Job description

We are looking to add our second AI Engineer to our Platform and Innovation R&D team to lead how we apply AI internally across Deposco. This is a unique opportunity to shape and embed the use of LLMs in our daily operations, focusing on high-impact automation and operational improvements. You will work cross-functionally to identify opportunities where AI can increase productivity, improve decision-making, and enhance internal processes.
As an AI Engineer on the Platform and Innovation team, you will develop and implement AI tooling and solutions that deliver tangible business value. You will join a team of world-class engineers building high-quality software architecture that our teammates trust, making communication and teamwork essential skills for this position.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools and systems that automate existing work and increase employee productivity utilizing AI
  • Use AI tools to accelerate your own development process while building these systems
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to understand pain points and identify high-impact automation opportunities
  • Rapidly prototype AI-enabled utilities and deploy them into production
  • Stay updated on the latest AI models and tools, applying that knowledge to solve real business problems

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar field
  • 1 to 5 years of experience designing and developing Java web applications
  • Some understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance
  • Understanding of data requirements for training, inference, and model monitoring is a plus
  • Experience building AI Agents, MCPs, and automating various workflows
  • Web Services (SOAP, RESTful)
  • Reside in Georgia. We are not currently relocating for this position.
  • Serious candidates should come with an entrepreneurial outlook and be ready to contribute innovative ideas
  • Ideal candidates will be self-starting, self-motivated and hold a strong work ethic
  • Effective communication skills working with related engineers and various other teams within the organization are key to the position
  • Experience using AI coding tools for development is a must.
  • Experience with platform and/or architectural roles is a must.
