About the job:

In this position, you will support our customerโ€™s Tradecraft Suite modernization efforts at their Fort Meade, Maryland facility. Tradecraft Suite is the customer web portal for capturing, finding, and sharing analytic tradecraft and resources to include detailed instructions on how to perform an analytic task, lessons learned from previous efforts, quick tips and tricks on how to perform tasks more easily and efficiently. You will support technical engineering (stakeholder requirements analysis, implementation processes, integration processes, etc.) and project engineering (planning, assessment and control, decision management, risk management etc.) processes related to Tradecraft Suite tools, including HUB, the GAMBIT Analytics tool and the BRIGHTIDEAS Discovery tool.

In addition, you will:

  • Use Tradecraft Suite expertise to support improvement and modernization efforts
  • Champion various assigned projects at cross-enterprise forums
  • Track partner interactions and action items
  • Facilitate meetings/boards (Configuration Change Management, Executive Requirements Review etc.)
  • Assist mission partners in the development of systems engineering artifacts, such as: SV diagrams, CONOPs, Project Plans, GANTT charts, and other SE documents
  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of multiple work products associated with the technical and project systems engineering process areas

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

  • Expertise with Tradecraft Suite tools, including HUB, GAMBIT and/or BRIGHTIDEAS
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting to complete assigned tasks on schedule
  • Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment

Required Education:

Qualified candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience; OR
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a qualified engineering or related field plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience; OR
  • Masterโ€™s degree or PhD in a qualified engineering or related field plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.

Salary Range: $141,200 - $185,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, BCT-LLC considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
