This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to track multiple projects, and a keen eye for quality control in the localization process of international content. At Gaia, soft skills are key to success. We seek candidates with strong interpersonal abilities - effective communication, teamwork, prioritization, and problem solving - who can adapt to change, manage conflicts with empathy, and collaborate well with diverse teams.

While technical skills matter, we highly value those who build positive relationships, contribute to a supportive culture, and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. If this sounds like you, you'll thrive in our dynamic environment. Responsibilities Localization Coordination * Coordinate the localization process for Spanish, French, and German content. * Develop a comprehensive understanding of the full lifecycle of subtitled and dubbed media assets. * Prepare materials for localization, including video files, audio stems, and caption files. * Utilize Airtable to manage subtitle and dubbing records, ensuring efficient asset tracking. * Facilitate the distribution of assets to vendors, contractors, and internal teams. * Initiate AI-generated metadata translations and ensure readiness for quality control processes. * Track deliverables closely to meet deadlines and communicate any delays effectively. * Assist in launching additional languages as needed. Quality Control & Asset Management * Manage the intake process for scripts, audio, and subtitles, ensuring all materials meet internal quality control (QC) standards. * Oversee the QC process, addressing file failures, revisions, and approvals with vendors and internal teams. * Ensure timely creation and translation of cue sheets before layback. * Coordinate layback and animation requests with Post-Production and Creative Services, aligning with publishing schedules. * Verify that final asset deliverables adhere to required specifications and prepare them for archiving in the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. * Maintain meticulous tracking of all statuses, deadlines, and publish dates. * Support closed captioning operations as needed. Qualifications * Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to process and accuracy. * Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. * Trustworthy, team-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment. * Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges. * Understanding of media formats and metadata is a plus. * Awareness of cultural nuances and sensitivities. * US citizenship or US residency with an existing work permit is required * Non-smoker * Must be available to work on our campus in Louisville, CO. This is not a remote role. Preferred Qualifications * Affinity for Gaia's content is required; existing Gaia subscribers preferred. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in media. * Prior localization experience preferred. * Experience with Agile-based project management (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus. * Experience with Airtable or similar relational databases is a plus. * Full fluency in English is required; fluency in French, German, or Spanish is preferred. Compensation * Type: Salary * Range: $60000 - $72000 (USD) More About Gaia Gaia exists as a transformational network to empower a global conscious community. Gaia (Nasdaq: GAIA) is a publicly traded company in Louisville, Colorado.

We offer global video streaming of over 8,000 original series, shows, films, documentaries, and practices for conscious living to our members in over 190 countries. Our vast video library serves as a vessel for the community we seek to empower. We are not a subscription service that streams whatever pays our bills.

Our content goes deep into select niches of Seeking Truth, Transformation, Alternative Health and Yoga channels. We often cover subjects that other media companies won't touch. We expect you did explore Gaia's library of original shows, documentaries, and films. If our work on ancient wisdom, who are we, our true history, coverups, and metaphysics resonates, you might be a good fit for Gaia.

We seek to hire and inspire employees who embrace our mission to empower a global conscious community, who hope their work empowers our community of inspired members, to be a catalyst of transformation. The best work we do every day is to remember our vision is "to empower the evolution of consciousness." The perks of working collaboratively with a team dedicated to sharing this mission include an on-site gym; a beautiful solar-powered campus, complete with hiking and running trails, community garden, and a labyrinth; and an on-site, mostly organic café that serves breakfast and lunch daily including a full-service espresso bar featuring locally roasted coffee. Full-time employees are offered alternative and traditional medical benefits including preventative coverage; as well as dental, vision, 401K, and life insurance. Apply Now
