Role 1) BA with Data Warehousing focus - SQL Exp a MUST, Data Lake , Snowflake, Tableau, Office 365 - will have Data Conversation with Multiple Data / stake Holders to gather requirments, Develop BRD/FRD, Use Cases, Workflow / Process Architecture and MUSTH Business Exp of any one ( Equities OR Fixed Income OR Portfolio Mgt)
 
Role 2) BA with Client Reporting focus  -  Reports Platform Development - Candidate must have 50%  Business (i.e Equities OR Fixed Income OR Portfolio Mgt) AND 50% Reporting,

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Senior Business Analyst will work with the business and technology teams on building technical products from inception through ongoing maintenance. This position will lead business and functional requirements gathering, analysis and documentation, including workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping, data flows, assistance with user testing and where applicable, processes and procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Communicate effectively - both verbally and written - to peers and business partners to include strong questioning and listening skills and the ability to look beyond obvious answers to understand impacts.
– Interview business counterparts to effectively draw out and articulate the business need/problem/ opportunity to be addressed. Provide scaled options for implementation based on the business need.
– Gather and analyze requirements. Organize and document business needs to enable design and development, including elicitation and documentation of current state and future state workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping and UI wireframes.
– Lead and influence cross-functional teams.
– Facilitate and derive consensus towards the target operating model and data/business related policies
– Provide consultation to development team and product owner for business facing application enhancements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s degree required
– A minimum of 7 years of experience, and minimum of 5 years experience in Business Analysis
– Strong experience in querying, mapping and documenting Financial data
– Demonstrated ability to articulate customized solutions to meet business requirements
– Experience working with Agile/Lean/Kanban software development processes
– Advanced skills using a variety of tools to document workflows and data mapping including but not limited to Excel and Lucid
– Understanding of analysis and documentation goals throughout the project lifecycle
– Ability to facilitate decision making through workshops
– Ability to learn quickly and work in a changing environment and under tight deadlines
– Ability to independently manage personal timelines and meet tight deadlines
– Ability to successfully manage and coordinate simultaneous project deliverables across groups and teams
– Strong experience with SQL, Excel, Lucid, Jira, Tableau, Agile
