Oglethorpe Power Headquarters, Tucker, GA 30084, US | Hourly | Co Op

The Electrical Co-op/Intern will support OPC's Capital Projects & Technical Services Department with plant electrical systems, inspections, maintenance support, and capital project support for facilities owned/operated or contracted to operate by Oglethorpe Power. The incumbent will provide business, administrative, and technical support for CP&TS associates and other personnel as required.

This position will provide opportunities to gain real-world experience in the power generation industry through support of electrical equipment inspections, field walkdowns, preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting support, data collection, and project-related engineering activities. The incumbent may also assist with the review of electrical drawings, specifications, design memoranda, and other project documentation for projects in development, under construction, or in service.

Responsibilities will include interaction, communication, and collaboration with plant technicians, engineers, project managers, maintenance personnel, and management. This role will provide exposure to office and industrial plant environments and may require travel to facilities across Georgia.
