Job Description

General Function: The Material Handler I is responsible for supporting the After Sales operation including inbound receipt, sortation, and management of an organized warehouse and preparing outbound shipments.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
  • Receives and sort inbound packages for each department in First in First out order
  • Responsible for 7s of good housekeeping
  • Stocks and replenish supplies
  • Finishing task in a timely manner assigned by the Leadership Team
  • Responsible for recycling of discard items with the after sales department
  • Prepares merchandise for shipment
  • Responsible for any additional duties assigned by the NAASC Leadership Team
  • Ability to train on small material handling equipment
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent mathematical aptitude/numerical recognition
  • Ability to interact professionally with all personnel
  • Clear and efficient communication skills
  • Ability to use material handling equipment: walkie riders, order pickers, etc.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours
