Job description

We are hiring a Sales Manager who turns relationships into results.
The is responsible to Develop and foster Group and Catering business for the hotel through proactive and reactive sales efforts. This position is designed to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction to external clients and internal partners with the goal of garnering both repeat and referral business from client base. In addition to maintaining existing business, this position will be responsible for finding new business and saturating existing accounts and/or segments. This positions serves as liaison between the customer, the Sales team and the Event Management team.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring all communication is timely, clear, and professional.
  • Drive revenue growth by maintaining existing accounts while actively seeking and developing new business opportunities.
  • Manage the full event lifecycle, including pre-event planning, execution, and post-event follow-up, ensuring all details (contracts, room blocks, BEOs, billing, etc.) are accurate and well-coordinated.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, event management, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Forecast and maximize revenue by analyzing group room blocks, food & beverage needs, and overall business opportunities.
  • Achieve individual sales goals, including activity metrics such as calls, tours, and appointments.
  • Utilize sales systems and strategies (e.g., Delphi, PMS, marketing plans) to manage accounts and support overall business objectives.
  • Maintain strong organization and time management, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail across all responsibilities.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and ongoing development while contributing to a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of hotel or hospitality sales experience
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Experience with group and/or catering business
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Familiar with sales systems (e.g., Delphi, PMS, or similar)
  • Customer-focused with a service-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to attend events, including some evenings/weekends
