Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients’ physical conditions, needs, and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and the use of advanced equipment.
• Document progress and interventions accurately, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in patient care.
• Guide and educate patients and their families on exercise techniques, mobility aids, and overall wellness strategies to enhance recovery.
• Stay updated with the latest in physical therapy practices through continuous education and participation in professional networks and workshops.
• Reassess patient progress periodically and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve interacting with a diverse patient population ranging from children to seniors, each with unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. You will focus on individuals recovering from various physical ailments, including musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. By tailoring therapy approaches to meet the specific needs of each patient, you will contribute significantly to their journey towards improved health and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Basic proficiency in computer and word processing skills to maintain patient documentation and treatment records.
• A flexible mentality and eagerness to adapt therapy techniques for diverse patient scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience in a clinical setting is not required, any hands-on experience in physical therapy or related fields may be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
