Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for patients experiencing functional limitations and disabilities, utilizing clinical judgment and knowledge of best practices.

• Ensure compliance with state practice acts, maintaining a thorough knowledge of laws governing physical therapy practices and supervision.

• Perform patient evaluations that review medical history, assess physical capabilities, and craft tailored treatment plans, ensuring thoughtful documentation of each patient's progress and treatment adjustments.

• Implement treatment protocols proficiently, adapting techniques based on the patient’s presentation and any changes in their condition.

• Engage in multidisciplinary consultations, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and document significant changes requiring adjustments to treatment plans.

• Oversee comprehensive discharge planning, ensuring that patients receive appropriate follow-up care and that all documentation is accurate, timely, and reflects a clear progression of care.

• Maintain compliance with all corporate and clinical service training requirements, including adherence to state, local, and federal healthcare regulations.

• Maximize departmental productivity while ensuring high standards of patient care by effectively carrying out assigned treatments and assessments.

• Participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development activities, staying informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy.

• Contribute to team efforts in identifying and removing barriers to healthcare access, actively engaging with initiatives focused on improving patient care experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a physical therapist at Start Fit Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating after injuries. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program, ensuring a solid foundation in physical therapy principles.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience providing physical therapy services, preferably in a home care setting.
