Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to gauge clients’ mental health conditions and needs during initial consultations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, setting measurable therapy goals that align with client expectations.
  • Maintain regular therapy sessions with clients, offering guidance, coping strategies, and emotional support to facilitate their journey towards recovery.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions, treatment notes, and progress updates accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team by discussing complex cases and making referrals to psychiatrist specialists when medication management may be required.
  • Organize and lead group therapy sessions, incorporating culturally responsive practices to foster a safe space for peer support.
  • Stay updated on mental health best practices and participate in professional development workshops to enhance your clinical skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Great Fit Psychotherapy Center, you will serve a varied client population, ranging from adolescents to older adults. Each client will present unique challenges influenced by factors such as socio-economic background and varying cultural contexts. Your ability to connect and engage diverse clients will contribute significantly to their recovery rates and overall satisfaction with therapy.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current, active license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and best practices in client care.
  • Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries while upholding ethical guidelines and client confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing both individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong crisis intervention skills in potentially challenging situations.
  • Experience with digital health tools, including proficiency in electronic health records and teletherapy platforms.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Robust healthcare benefits covering essential medical, dental, and vision needs.
  • A retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions to support your future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) policies and holiday pay to ensure work-life balance.
  • Continuing education stipends to foster ongoing professional development.
  • A collaborative workspace culture that encourages career advancement and leadership opportunities within the organization.
