Position Overview

The Foster Future Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Clinical Counselor to join our team. This full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the mental health of individuals and families in the Phoenix, Arizona area while working from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with a focus on establishing rapport and building a trusting therapeutic relationship.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, address challenges, and prepare for potential discharge when appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that align with each client's goals and aspirations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Carry out comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' needs and recommend appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Lead individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to various mental health conditions.
  • Engage in regular supervision sessions for professional development and support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, seeking out continuous improvement in personal competencies and client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
  • Current, active, and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status.
